i was walking home to see a sign saying “free Ginni pigs 100m” i ignore the sign and keep on walking to she a old frowly man sitting on a camping chair with clear tubs!!!! there are Little Ginni pigs he makes me stop as i try to ignore him, and says “how cute are they” i say very and keep walking when suddenly he steps in front of me and says “which one do you like best” i walked back thinking that if i go along he will let me go so i picked one that was white, orange and black long haired on, i kept walking when suddenly there was a box in my hands i turned back to say i don’t want one, but he had put lids on the clear containers folded his chair and was running away, i couldn’t run because i had a sprained ankle so i just kept walking, my mum is not home yet and i have a Ginni pig in a box to the side, taking it to the pet shop is out of the question and me keeping it is also, what should i do i have a female, what do i feed her, what will she eat, please help,
For some reason we do not you have been given a gift to care for and love and be loved. You need to feed it pellets that are 18% protein with a high Vitamin C, just a plain c no nuts, seeds or any thing else in it. A baby should have alfalfa hay all it can eat until 6 months old as it is higher in protein and calcium and help them grow. It needs 1/2 to 1 cup of dark green leafy veggies daily, Things like kale, chard, collard greens, bell pepper, broccoli are good. Fruit is only given ever 3 days as it is to high in sugar and most has to much acid and if given daily would cause sores in the guinea pigs mouth. I put Vitamin C drops in the water, when you do this you need to change the water every day but you should do so any way.
Se will need a sizable cage at least 40″ long if you go to a store bought cage. You can go to my You tube site and view Cage, I show a great cage that is big enough for 2 actually, it only costs $89.00, i include the link to Super Pet.Also view A good Buy I tell you how to but hay, although i did say not to get alfalfa in your case with a baby you will want to. You will be able to get the hay much cheaper then at the pet store. I get enough to last 3 guinea pigs 4 mounts for only $4.00
