Leather Tub Chairs For Sale
Reupholstery – cat friendly fabric?
Hi, I purchased a beautiful but shabby and grubby looking antique tub chair from a garage sale a year ago. I haven’t actually gotten around to re-upholstering it as I have been busy with other things in life. Now, we have left it in the study where it has been happily ripped to shreds by our resident cats. I am happy they are not ripping up my leather lounge set or my expensive massage chair, but it looks like I will be needing to choose some cat-friendly reupholstery material if they are to continue t his behaviour.
What do you suggest?
PS: No, don’t ask me to train them not to scratch the tub chair – its the only piece of furniture in the house they scratch and I don’t want training to backfire by them suddenly deciding that the leather lounge is a good place to scratch…
PS2: No, don’t ask me to reupholster it with sisal rope – I am looking for a comfortable yet sturdy material that can withstand cat scratching.
PS3: They only scratch the arms.
when you do ps… then you do pps….. then you do ppps….. there is no fabric that will withstand cats….
