Meditation Bath
How do I go to sleep easier?
I usually have my mom or dad or grandma tuck me in before I go to sleep. It works only by them, no one else… my grandma doesnt live here and my parents sometimes go to sleep before me. How can I go to sleep without waking up my parents or getting an anxiety attack? I am not going to drink warm milk, I am a lactose intolerant. That meditation zen stuff doesnt work, and even if I exercise a lot for one day that doesnt help. I cant play music in my room, and I dont usually have time for a long bath… I also wake up several times each night for a few minutes… ALSO… 1- Is there anything wrong with me? 2- Should my dr know? 3- What can I do to help it?
and no drugs or medicine please.. like simple stuff!!! im just sitting here waiting everyone else is asleep and im paniking in my head in a calm way if that makes sense, im still in my jeans and t-shirt so i guess i should go change my little sister just went to bed, so now all thats awake is me and my doggies… hmmm.

You should talk to your doctor. Perhaps he can give you something for your anxiety that will help you relax. If there is something you fear… try to do whatever you can to get rid of it. Or, maybe you are thinking too much– letting your mind worry on things that it shouldn’t.
I used to be a little like that. There is a comfort in knowing that someone is around that is awake and watching over you as you fall asleep. For us humans, being asleep is equates to us being vulnerable… i.e. Will the monster under the bed get us? What is that dark shadow on the wall? Will someone break into the house and kill everyone? Etc…
So, it is always more relaxing to know that a person we trust is around and awake, protecting us. When your parents tuck you in at night, you can fall asleep easy knowing that they are awake in the next room and won’t let nothing happen to you.
Perhaps reading a book (one that makes you happy and brings you comfort) before you go to sleep might help. For me, I either read the Bible or read a really good romance book to get me relaxed.
