Meditation Blanket
I’m DESPERATE!! I haven’t been able to sleep for 2 weeks!!?
For the past two weeks I’ve been running on about 3 hours of sleep a night- and that is just completely unheard of for me!! Sleep is very important to me and so normally I try really hard to get at least 7 hours a night. But lately for some weird, cruel reason, I haven’t been able to sleep. I’ll feel really tired and “go to bed” but I’ll just lay there for hours wide awake!! (i don’t drink soda or coffee, I don’t eat after 6:30 pm -i’m doing nothing out of the ordinary!!) So, last night, like every other night, I laid in bed and didn’t dose off until 5 am -30 min before my boyfriend had to go to work. After he left I was in between asleep and awake for 3 hours, and I awoke at exactly 8 am this morning. I didn’t get sleepy until 9:30 tonight, I fell asleep for 2 hours on the sofa and then woke up abruptly, then I laid in bed for another 2 hours wide awake!!! I CANT SLEEP!! -I’ve tried everything!!! -meditation, tea, hot bath, warm blanket, counting sheep… PLEASE HELP ME!!
If you’re not tired, why do you want to sleep so bad? A lot of people only get like 4 hours of sleep a night, it’s really not bad for you. Anyway, a lot of ppl say try reading a book. I’m not going to suggest that, because it doesn’t work for me. I personally average about 5 hours a night and I’m okay with that. I usually can’t sleep because my mid won’t slow down, and thinking about almost anything keeps me up. Except for math. I can usually doze off if I think about math for a while and don’t let my mind drift off to something else. Of course, that probably won’t work for normally ppl, but if all else fails, maybe try it. Unless you hate math. Idonno.
