Meditation For Children
Did Christianity start out with something similar to Yoga Meditation?
Jesus said: “Take my Yoke, for my Yoke is easy”
Yoga means “To Yoke” and one kind of Yoga Meditation is called “Royal Yoga” because it is easy and was taught to the Kings and Princes of old.
Do you think that Christianity may have taught some kind of Yoga?
To back up this question: Yoga is for enlightenment, and if you pick up a concordance and see what Jesus said about “light” and what he said about “sacrifice” he was all positive about the first, and quite negative on the second. And he also said to become “Children of the Light!” John 12:36
And he NEVER said to become children of the blood. He said: “I will have mercy and not sacrifice.” More on my bio.
And in the Sermon on the Mount, he said to his followers: “You are the light of the world.” That means that he ALREADY gave them something to increase the light.
Do you think Jesus privately gave them something like Royal Yoga to increase the light?
Yes. Look in a King James Concordance. Jesus says ” if thine eye be single,thy whole body shall be filled with light”. This is exactly what deep meditation is striving for. The single eye, at the forehead, is on most statues of the Buddha and other ancient carvings.
