I’d like good recommendations for Buddhist temples and Buddhism/meditation stores in the Seattle Area?
I’ve begun getting really interested in Buddhism and would like to hear what temples you recommend visiting in the Seattle area, and why, as well as any recs for specialty shops related to buddhism.
It all depends on whether you most interested in Theravadan Buddhism {the way of the elders, the first monks to write down – having Siddhartha Gautama’s teachings),
or if your interested in Tibetan Buddhism, which is what the 14th Dalai Lama is {who received the Noble Peace Prize about 10 yrs. ago),
or if your interested in Zen Buddhism {which is a combination of Theravadan, Tibetan, and also Taoism).
