Virtual Meditation
Is reality “real?”?
My prevailing impression is that the “solid” world of the senses amounts to a virtual, but somehow shared, existence that only seems real because each of us has no other baseline with which to compare it. What is really real seems to lie beyond our present capabilities of apprehension — except perhaps via meditation. (While this stance encourages a less distressed perspective upon world events, it offers little in the way of satisfying the quest for a solid “floor” upon which a life can be reliably structured.)
to keep it short and to the point…real is anything that you perceive as real…but as you can see these terms dont cover all aspects and has some flaws…this questions complexity can not be grasped and therefore the question can not be answered…at least not in a simple yahoo answers post…you might want to read some plato and aristotle to help you understand reality…and since you mention meditation take a look at samkhya and sankara
