Wood Spindles For Chairs
attn chair restorers–spindles-to glue or not to glue?
hub is restoring a rocking chair for a friend of a friend-has never restored a chair before but is a talented wood worker—everyone involved knows this –anyways-anybody who knows, please answer–we don’t think that the spindles on the backrest should be glued but thought we would throw the question out there–haven’t been able to get hold of the chair owner to ask their opinion.
They absolutely should be glued. If you don’t glue them they will loosen up!
